Pursuing graduate school

I feel like my job is becoming monotonous so I am planning to enroll on a graduate school. Well I have already asked information on how to be admitted and the school admission told me that I needed to get GMAT first. Seriously I needed to take an exam? After a few minutes, I realized that I have graduated three years ago and I think my mind needs to be replenished with some knowledge way back in college. Since I really wanted to pursue graduate school I have to undergo a review or gmat prep. This would be the best thing I can do because for sure I may have forgotten what I have learned in college. I have two options for the review, either I attend a classroom review or I will just enroll myself in an online review instead. I think I have to choose the online review because I do have a very busy lifestyle so it would be advantageous for me to just carry my laptop anywhere and access a gmat review online.

Our company recently handed out giveaways for all employees, according to our company it is a way of appreciating the good job of all employees in the country. Some of the items that were handed out includes the bath robes, custom travel mugs, pens and notepads with of course the imprinted name of our company. These items are actually given to us every year, but this year they handed out many items because the company has survived the economic turmoil of the previous year. When company does this, they give motivation to the employee along with the salary increases.

Let your kids play

Do you have kids at home? They sure have energy to play right? So why not let them use their energy by installing wooden swing set in your lawn. Instead of the conventional metal swing set, wooden swing set is safer than the metal one. This is because a wooden swing set does not corrode unlike the metal which would corrode if you place it under the extreme environment. And it is also cheaper as compared to the metal one. Wooden swing are also easy to dispose because when time comes the children get mature this play set should be disposed. Well as for now let the children play into this wooden swing set right in your own backyard.

My friend just bought a house

My friend just recently purchased a house and he wanted to bring us into his new home. We then went to his home and found out that it was a newly refurnished home, newly painted and new home decor. He said there was so much to do with the house because the former owner left this house for two years without a caretaker. The owner returned and found that the house was almost ruined; she then sells the house at a bargain price while the buyer will take charge of the repair. My friend brought the house; he had no problem on repairs because his wife was an architect with some knowledge on interior design. I was so amazed because every little detail of the house was repaired, they only use some of the best brands like Insinkerator for the kitchen, some durable tiles, and they have even changed all the wiring installed in the house. I realized that buying a house to repair is not at all bad; as long as you have the knowledge in home repair then it will be a best buy.

When I make a reservation

When I am in a hotel I make sure that I stay in a room with deadbolt locks. I am really particular to this because I usually go out during the day and leave my things in my room. Having deadbolt locks will surely keep intruders from entering the room. There was one time though that I was given a room with a single lock. I was so upset because I reserved a room with deadbolt lock; I told the front desk personnel  that next time they should serve the clients demand. Without any choice I still stayed in the hotel, but I needed to be more vigilant. So the next time I should thoroughly what I wanted for a hotel room.

New system in saving our files

Companies nowadays are turning online, just like the company where I am right now. The company told us that the employees should scan all the documents collected after a customer signed it. Prior to this like maybe seven months ago we had a meeting about storing our documents online. Initially the IT staff has securely stored all the old documents, and we will be in charge in storing the new documents. The company has also told us that they got document management software service from a trusted IT company. The company paid for it that is why they wanted to utilize it by storing documents. There are advantages in storing documents online, first is that we no longer rely on paper documents or we would no longer duplicate the original document using papers instead we will scan the documents and save it online. Finally, the document vault will be less congested partly because there will be lesser fillings. So there all systems go for us hope we can all adjust with the new system immediately.

Are your calls protected

The call for a more tight security on wireless technology is getting stronger. Despite the drastic measures observed by mobile phone operators to keep their customer secure, they should upgrade from time to time. Security researchers have released tools that they say; make it easy to see what security systems operators use to stop eavesdropping or others listening to conversations.

Dr. Karsten Nohl heads this project in order to expose mobile phone operators who have not updated their security system that protects their customers. Since most calls are protected by encryption with huge number of keys it is almost impossible to eavesdrop. As a challenge to mobile phone operators Dr. Nohl have found a way to break the algorithms in minutes-which accordingly algorithms can be broken in 100,000 years. If the operators have installed appropriate software operators can avoid the attack.

Dr. Nohls project does not threaten the mobile phone operators instead he wants to challenge them simply because Mobile technology has been the mainstream of cultures. Going back when GSM was still commonly use, no one has ever thought that its encryption would be broken in fact that was a laughing matter which now came into reality. Customers have the right to make their conversations confidential and it is the responsibility of mobile phone operators to protect it.
