We know for a fact that the US remains the largest economy in the world, despite the threat that China will soon dominate the world economy. Have you noticed that more and more products nowadays that has made in China tags rather that made in the usa? This is of course somewhat true to consumer goods like t-shirts, bags and other accessories, but still most of what we use today are still made in the usa. That is according to recent study conducted by a company that more and more people are now aware the products that are made in that oriental part of the globe are not that sturdy as compare to the products that are made here in the US. Even though they have the same brand, still many would prefer to get those products that are high in quality and those products that pass the standards. For me I would definitely choose the products that are produced locally simply because American manufacturing has this tradition of creating products that are high in quality.

I am a traveler a constantly travel around the country for leisure as well as business purposes. A new patent application suggests a BlackBerry dock made by RIM. However, this dock isn’t just a simple charger station like many other BlackBerry docks. The RIM designed BlackBerry dock is a “desk dock” that not only charges the smartphone, but connects it to a handset or regular type telephone. As the picture above shows, you can simply dock your BlackBerry and use it as a regular phone. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen such a design, but apparently RIM thinks it’s original enough to warrant a patent application. The BlackBerry dock patent application was submitted last year, however, we dunno how likely it is to be approved. With all the troubles RIM is facing these days, perhaps they should spend their R&D resources on competing with Apple and Android instead.
