These birds are suicidal. They situate in High tension wires which are very much dangerous to one’s well-being. You know what I mean, electricity+something=electricution. I’m kinda curious what are in birds that enable them to cling on High voltage wires. Birds are not grounded accordingly. For electrical current to flow, the circuit needs to go to the ground and since the birds are only touching the live wire, there is no flow of current through their bodies. Hmm? Is that the only reason? Maybe the keratin in their claws also prevent the current from flowing, it is insulated in short. Whatever the reason there is, I’m sure my cat wouldn’t care catching those birds on the wire. Right Orange?

My cat’s name is Orange by the way.

More and more people nowadays are getting conscious on their health. Staying healthy on diet, eating less and other dietary regimens have come in recent years. But if you want that savory taste of food with health promoting reputation, then try Mediterranean diet.

A cuisine lifestyle is what Mediterranean diet is all about. It is diet that doesn’t deprive you from food. Many nutritionist have studied and observed that this diet from the Mediterranean Basin prolongs the life expectancies with lesser prevalence of chronic diseases that are prevalent in other countries.

Mediterranean diet emphasizes the consumption of freshest and high quality food. Fresh fruit, nuts, olive oil, wine, pasta, grains, cheese, fish and modest amount of red meats. This diet contains monounsaturated fat found in olive oil. Fish contains Omega-3 which is good for the heart, it also prevent certain cancers. Wine which is also present in their meals has plenty of flavanoids which balances the hormones of the body. It is also proven to significantly reduce weight, and lower blood pressure.

So there you have it. Mediterranean diet isn’t really a diet. You won’t feel any hunger as what you experience in other form of diet. You can easily adapt with it and satisfy your taste buds.

Easily the most commonly consumed of crustaceans, shrimps number about 2,000 species. They range in size from tiny to lengths of more than 20 centimeters. The term prawn is generally applied to those that exceed 10 cm. Shrimp inhabit both fresh and salt water and are mostly found in shallow underwater floors where they feed on small plants and animals.

Shrimps have thick muscled abdomens which they contract to move backwards, and these curved muscles extracted from the abdomen is what is known as shrimp meat, which bequeaths a variety of preparations. I personally love to eat shrimps cooked in extra virgin coconut oil and garlic, shrimp salad or Chinese shrimp fried rice added with spices that will surely satisfy your taste buds. There are of course endless possible cooking preparation for shrimps. What’s yours?

I recently had a business trip in Koronadal City, Philippines. It’s a wonderful place and lots of food to offer. One food for example are chocolate. I bought chocolate bar and “Tablea”- (chips of chocolates to be melted), from a store and it was tasty and so I realized this is worth blogging. The Chocolate according to the store owner are made from all natural organic cocoa. They are abundantly grown in the fertile soil of the province. Well after consuming some these chocolates I felt totally relax. Why? because chocolates contains flavanoids which balances the hormones of our body. Chocolates contains antioxidants known to protect the cells from free radicals. It is also known for being a stimulant, a dose of it could perk you up. Instead of coffee in the morning I just drink a concoction of chocolate made from Tablea and my day started well. If given a chance to go back in Koronadal City I will surely buy another set of their chocolate product.
