There are times that I could not hear the knocks on my door simply because I am very fast asleep whenever we have visitors during the weekend. So to solve this problem my wife and I decided to install kick plates in our door in order for us to hear someone in the door. This has been our problem since we move in this new house because we have not yet installed a doorbell or a kick plate so I hope next week we can purchase the kick plate and install it once and for all.
