Spending time with kids

I had a chance to chat with our neighbor through the fence earlier this morning, this is really unusual because we didn’t talk that long ever since we moved in maybe due to our hectic lives. We talked about his Senior high school child who’s planning to get a degree in New York City. He said his daughter grew up so fast that he actually didn’t notice and is now planning to leave their home to get an education in the NYC. He was really sad stating that if he could only stop the time and keep his daughter small he would do it, but of course he wanted his child to grow and build a life worth living by going to the big city to get a degree. Before that though, his child is asking for a prom dress since the senior prom is fast approaching, and after that event his child will be preparing for entrance examinations on universities in the NY state.

With that conversation earlier I realized that time indeed is fast for now I can just see my child crawling sometimes begs for a lift and most of the time begs for attention. I should therefore seize that moments so that I can spend the most of my time with her, loving her as much as possible because when she grows up she will search her life adventure and leave our home.
