Sometimes I am amazed by people who have the guts to wear unique clothing I am particularly amazed on the Japanese funny tee shirts. I once traveled to Japan for a job and then I noticed that younger Japanese people prefer to wear outrageous and out of this world clothing. There are teens who wear Gothic costumes, some Lolita fashions, punk guys and there are also young people who do CosPlay, wherein they would wear the clothing style of Japanese cartoons. In the US I can hardly see those kinds of clothing maybe because American are practical and wanted to wear comfortable clothes. Although I sometimes see those people that wear funny tee shirts, but generally American are very well-dressed and follows styles that are desirable to the eyes.
