Lost in Translation: Spanish Manual

lostintranslation

Nope this is not the movie stared by Scarlet Johansson or Bill Murray. This is about the hilarious experience of my friend with his camera. I’ve been wanting a camera since January because I really needed it for blogging. What I used right now is only my phone camera. So he told me that before buying camera I need to consider many specifications.

The most important of all is quality, according to him most known brands have high quality. Next is that it should have the basic functions yet superb imaging you will need to get started photography.

And finally he stated to check if it has an English manual. He had difficulty understanding the manual because it is a Espanyol/Spanish manual. Even if some of the words we use are borrowed from Spanish he still couldn’t comprehend most of the technical words. At first he goes daily to Google language tool but later on he got tired.

I really learned a lot from him, knowing what to buy and what to expect inside a box is indeed important or else you will get lost in translation. :-)

:-) So did you buy it? Do you now have a camera?

  2. Not yet Agnes I’m still using my camera phone until now. I think I’ll stick to my phone cam for a while.

You could always check for online manuals. Most cameras and phones, etc., have them available online.
