I’m a traveler, I travel most of the time. I go from one Island to another. City to city, that’s what I do. I am a roving bank employee. So as time passed by I learned a lot of etiquette as a modern traveller. First, I have a companion, who have been a friend of mine since I got employed in the bank. She is not a “light traveler”- it meant for our five days office somewhere, she would carry with her several pair of shoes. For her just in case it rained she could have a spare of it. Good thing she would not let me carry her baggage because I’m not interested either. So travel light.
When I purchased my ticket I make sure that I would know all the details of my flight. Sometimes it’s embarrassing but most of the time I’m keen. Besides there is nothing to be ashamed of, after all I’m the one shelling out the bucks and taking the trip.
Oftentimes airlines require us to be in the airport an hour earlier. They do that so everyone can check in, board and leave on time. Did you experience getting annoyed because of a delay? The weather is good, there is no storm, not even an engine breakdown. You were just delayed because someone is late in short you are waiting for a passenger who checked in late. So be sure to be on time so that we would never cause any delay. Time is crucial you know, there are so many things to do.
Electronic devices are such a no no in a passenger plane. Why? because the system of a plane is way too sensitive to interference produced by gadgets. So better yet turn off all your stuff like cellphones, pagers, and even laptops. Unless you have death wish of course, you don’t want your airplane system to malfunction in the mid air.
There was one time I sat beside a woman who wears a very strong perfume. It smelled like Victoria Secret. For a short time I just love the scent but after 10 minutes of seating beside her I got this motion sickness. It felt bad, I was in the state temporary vertigo. So I asked the cabin crew to give me something that could take away the uncomfortable feeling. Luckily I recovered and I just realized the scent of the woman triggered my motion sickness. It was like a poison I said to myself. So before you spray those whiffs take into consideration that planes are enclosed area. Strong scents can cause nausea, allergies and motion sickness in my case. So hold back on perfumes people.
