I just read from a website that a man surfed with killer whales. I myself could not believe it, but according to Dominion Post Craig Hunter who had been surfing New Zealand’s North Island actually surfed with an Orca along with her two young calves. Craig said: “there was no way I was going in because the waves were too good.”
This was not the first time Craig surfed with an Orca. Finally he added that “my outlook is they are big enough and quick enough. If they thought I was a seal, I’d be long gone.”
There are only few confirmed wild Orca attacks on humans. It is speculated that these attacks were due to confusion of the Orcas for its food.
